When did rebirth launch?
Rebirth was added in the Aug 12, 2026 patch. Bemmy's Aug 7 stream (youtube.com/watch?v=0Xa2z4fM3xA) explicitly says 'You cannot rebirth in this game' — this is out of date. The mechanic was added five days later.
Cost curve
Rebirth cost follows a geometric series: cost(r) = 10,000 · 1.35^r. Rebirth 1 costs 13,500 coins. Rebirth 5 costs ~54,000 coins. Rebirth 6 costs ~73,000 coins. The cost is the cumulative push, not the per-step cost.

Reaching Rebirth 5 takes ~10 hours of optimized play. Rebirth 6 takes ~14 hours. These figures are matched against the noob-to-pro guide and verified against player streams recorded between Aug 12 and Aug 14, 2026.
Bonuses
Every rebirth tier grants +5% permanent passive income. This is multiplicative with the treadmill boost. At Rebirth 5+, you can run an estimated 17.5M coins per hour on pure passive income. Speed 150 doubles mutation chance on Legendary eggs.
